On March 23, the ISD 279 School Board approved a resolution condemning xenophobic, racist, and all anti-Asian attacks elevated by COVID-19.
Students who have symptoms of COVID-19 should stay home and get tested. Any student coming to school with symptoms can have a negative impact on other students and adults in the school, possibly leading to quarantines of many other students and staff, which dramatically disrupts learning.
Osseo Area Schools will distribute free spring break meal boxes from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, March 29, at three sites throughout the district. Each box will contain seven (7) breakfasts and seven (7) lunches.
Trust us, you won't want to miss our virtual Kindergarten Orientation!
The PTO's next virtual meeting will be held via Google Meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 15.
National School Breakfast Week is almost here! This year, schools in District 279 are participating in the March 8-12 celebration by providing students with nutritious and delicious meals, as well as opportunities to win prizes just by eating a school breakfast.
Picture retake day is tomorrow, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. DLA students whose home school is Rice Lake can have their photos retaken from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
If your family qualifies for free or reduced-price meals, you may be eligible for financial assistance (Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer, or P-EBT) to purchase food.
